The Battle of Perryville finalized Confederate General Braxton Bragg's famous "Kentucky Invasion" with a tactical victory for the Confederacy, but his eventual retreat that led to Union control of the critical border state for the remainder of the war.

Perryville has long been the "forgotten" battle in Civil War history. This excellent site, visualized and built by respected and well-known historians working in the field, goes a long way toward changing that.
