7th Annual All-Star Walking Tour of Gettysburg
June 15-17, 2012 - led by Gary Kross
with G. Craig Caba, Stuart R. Dempsey, Charlie Fennell and Zachery A. Fry |
We
are happy to announce our 7th Annual All-Star Tour of Gettysburg,
designed for serious students of the battle. Our program will include five
in-depth tours, each of about 3 ½ hours duration, led by top experts on the
subjects being covered.
Throughout
the two and a half day program, Gary Kross will serve as lead historian
and provide the narrative for aspects of the battle that are not otherwise
covered by our four guest historians. The topics of the tours to be led by Stuart
Dempsey, Zack Fry and Craig Caba are show below – the topics
of the tours to be led by Charlie Fennell and Gary Kross will be
announced soon. For each such tour, a fair amount of walking will be
involved so bring comfortable shoes.
On Saturday evening, we will enjoy a cookout at the nearby home of Roger
and Lynn Heller. Hopefully you’ll be hungry and thirsty because good food
and hearty drink will abound, and the atmosphere will be festive.

After
dinner, will be the presentation of The Spirit of Gettysburg Award,
given annually to an individual or
individuals for “especially meritorious contributions of support and
congeniality demonstrated during CWEA Gettysburg tours.”
You
are welcome to enroll for all or any part of this exciting two and a half day
adventure. Call us at 800-298-1861 for partial program fee rates and
enrollment. From beginning to end, this one should be, as it has been in the
past, a smash. Join us!
