Text Box: We are happy to announce our 3rd Annual All-Star Tour of Gettysburg, designed for serious students of the battle. Our program we will offer five in-depth tours, each of about 3 ½ hours duration, led by top experts on the specific subjects being covered. We will begin on Friday morning with a walking tour of the town of Gettysburg led by an outstanding interpreter, Gerry Eak. We’ll visit churches, homes and other historic buildings which will tell us fascinating stories of the history of Gettysburg and of fighting that raged in the town’s streets during the Civil War.

After lunch on Friday, our afternoon tour, led by John Archer, will explore the fighting that raged on July 2-3 at the Bliss Barn and the July 3 fighting at the Bryan Farm at the high water mark of the Confederacy.

On Saturday morning, led by Sue Boardman, we will follow in the shoes of Abraham Lincoln when he visited Gettysburg in November, 1863, following him from the train station to the cemetery where he would give the immortal Gettysburg Address.

After lunch on Saturday, Tim Smith and Wayne Motts will lead us on a tour of the Lutheran Seminary grounds and of the fight at the Seminary. This will be our most detailed-ever look at this overlooked aspect of the battle.

On Sunday morning, Gary Kross will take us for another look at Little Round Top and Devil’s Den, places which most of our attendees have visited before, but this time, Gary will ask for and field your toughest questions about the terrible fighting that raged in those famous places.

Throughout our time together, Gary will serve as lead historian and provide the narrative for other aspects of the battle that are not otherwise covered by Gerry, John, Sue, Tim and Wayne A fair amount of walking will be involved, especially on Saturday morning, so be sure to bring comfortable walking shoes. Throughout the tour, we’ll keep you supplied with water, soft drinks and snacks. We hope you’ll join us on this all-star tour of America’s greatest Civil War battle and most famous Civil War town
